 Going one step further…. Introducing The Flexible Program

In response to the increasingly high cost of terminations, the importance of enhancing the company’s image and its impact in a competitive work environment, many companies across North America are moving beyond providing the traditional outplacement services to designing flexible programs that are personalized and based on a partnership between the employee and her / his Career Coach.

We encourage active involvement of the employee in choosing from the broad spectrum of services (see list) and have been instrumental in the development of a "Flexible Program" for several reasons. The most important is to provide services that are most relevant to the person, and provide significant cost savings to the corporate sponsor by re-directing the unused portion of the  “Flex Dollars” to other uses.

Providing learning opportunities or channels of support, such as in depth computer training, specialization and/or formal academic training provided through recognized educational institutions is one way that corporate sponsors have used our program. 

Not only do we realize a “one size fits all” does not adequately meet the needs of today’s diverse work force, but company cultures are changing and encouraging more employee involvement when assessing what specific kind of transitioning support is needed to ensure re-employment.

And, more importantly, it is our experience some employees do not make use of all the benefits they receive from their corporate sponsors. This is especially true in some cases where the employee has had previous/recent experience with outplacement in their career history. 

We are strongly committed to doing what is best for the employee at a time when it is imperative to ensure a sensitive and caring response to termination.  We will partner with you, the corporate sponsor, to ensure their needs are met and provide you with cost savings.
